The Dog & Monocle

Steampunk supper club in the heart of Nowra. Very good gastro pub menu, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service in a quirky setting. (Steampunk = a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction.) Great selection of cocktails, loads of gin, good whisky selection and local area craft beers. Doors close at 10 pm. Just around the corner from the Roxy Cinema, Nowra, so a great night out is to combine a movie and dinner or supper at Dog & Monocle.

82 Junction Street, Nowra. PH: 44093902  https://www.facebook.com/DogandMonocle/

Greendales Cafe

Located at Jindy Andy, Greendales cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Under new ownership, Greendales offers  a "rustic menu" and a "paddock to plate"philosophy. A beef ragu is a lovely winter lunchtime dish!

Cambewarra Estate

A second generation family winery, Cambewarra makes good quality whites, a couple of robust reds, nice stickies and a good port. Their verdhello is one of the best we've tried. Each wine is named after a member of the family.

The estate has a restaurant open on weekends.

520 Illaroo Road, Bangalee (turn left off the bridge at Nowra heading north)
Ph: 4446 0170

Two Figs

Another family run boutique winery, Two Figs produces a range of good quality wines across the styles.

Location is stunning, with great views across the Shoalhaven

905 Bolong Road, Berry   Ph: 44485003   www.twofigs.com.au

Coolangatta Estate

Originally planted in the 1800's, Coolangatta's modern vines were established in the 1980's. Now a 5 star rated winery, the best selections in our view are the chardonnay, semillon and chambourcin. The 2009 Semillon has won several awards including best semillon at the 2018 Winestate Wine of the Year awards.

Estate has a nice restaurant open for lunch Thursday to Sunday.

Also home to the Bigfoot tourist ride.
